"So far as I can tell, LIRR had a failed experience with CBTC, quite a few years back,"This is the first I've heard of this. Elaborate? Which vendor, dates, which line? Sources? CBTC is alive and well and working just fine on many train systems today. No reason it can't work in NYC. |
