There's no reason for LIRR, NYCT, NJT, AMTK to charge less. They are providing vital services and are underfunded. HB AirTrain is totally different. It is not vital. It is not even necessary. And it doesn't provide any great service. And it is a few feet past the other station. And a lot of the people who get on there don't pay the fare! And it makes taking a cab a lot more inviting.
