People are only traveling to the Howard Beach station (just like Jamaica) because of the connection to AirTrain. For most people, they have two choices depending on where they are coming from. Giving one of the NYCT stations an advantage will take away that choice, and lead to an uneven use. IT's completely clear why they charge the same fare at both Aitrain-NYCT connections. |
