When he walks away from the Airtrain station he would have a $4 Metrocard in his pocket after spending $20 to buy it, so the trip cost him $16. I dont care HOW he uses the $4...whether it be for the subway one day, or add $1 to it and use it for AirTrain some other day, or take a bus to hell....either way, Airtrain only cost him $16. |
