They are buses with trolley poles and traction motors

Trolley poles and traction motors do not a rail vehicle make. If it were, then this would be a freight train. (Besides, the Silver Lie is dual-mode.)



ETB's are acceptable here

Never have been that I've seen. Perhaps on Subtalk they were.
