ANYTHING can happen that can disrupt normal subway service.Turning out after 72nd Street proves as a good plan, sometimes service diversions would allow the R to switch onto these tracks and access QB via the new tunnel. Now which is cheaper? An East Side Tunnel to Queens or an underwater tube to Brooklyn or Staten Island? |
