If they did eventually build a tunnel between Lower Manhattan and LIRR's FBA terminal, preferably it should be a double decker arrangement, with LIRR on one level and NYCT on another.That would be the way to go. I'd like to see such a tunnel have at least 6 tracks. 2 for the LIRR, 2 for the SAS, and 2 for the C and E. |
