The connection to the Fulton Street Local is accomplished in the tunnels between Hoyt and Court Streets, so the cut-in only affects the museum tracks for the length of time it takes to make the actual cut-in. The Orange-Pineapple tunnels run three levels deep under existing downtown Manhattan services beneath Wall Street, six tracks. The Orange Street Tunnel (4 tracks) carries the Myrtle-Fifth Avenue Subway while the Pineapple Street Tunnel (2 tracks) carries the Fulton Street-Ninth Avenue Subway. There is likewise NO CONNECTIONS TO or interruptions of any existing subway in Manhattan. ![]() ![]() |
