You CANNOT schedule them that closely, because all trains gain or loose a few minutes enroute.You can schedule trains closely. The key is to have systems in place that permit corrections en route, when they are in seconds. This prevents deviations of minutes later on. N.B. you talk only of "loosing" time. Gaining time is also a problem. |
