It would not work:

There would be too much congestion into the Cranberry Street tunnel with the A/C as well, plus anywhere else will not be an easy crossover. Plus, I would have the V combined with the M anyway if it were up to me.

The best hope there would be once the SAS gets to Water Street to build a new tunnel to Brooklyn that would connect to the current Transit Museum at Court Street and then join the A/C at Hoyt-Scherhorn, continuing to at least Euclid from there.
