That I agree with:A better idea to me is what I've already said elsewhere in this thread: A new tunnel via 76th or 79th street (with a York-1st Avenue stop in Manhattan) initially terminating on Roosevelt Island and eventually becoming a super express to/from the never-used upper level at Roosevely Avenue. This could be a new route for the N, while the W takes over Astoria full-time and the Q as planned goes up the SAS while the R remains as it is now. |
