Well obviously if one holds onto the handle bars on the cars then it should be safe. I have crossed b/w cars in the past even when they were moving and always had no problems.But since the MTA is more or less a bureaucracy, sadly the MTA feels they have to enforce such a rule on everyone regardless of if the person can cross safely or not all. This is all so that they won't be sued by the one person out of maybe 50-100 that do cross safely. |
