I was indeed very guilty of this infraction yesterday as I went from north motor to south motor on the "C" train as I rode from Jay Street to Penn Station. I always use the grab irons and if I am in doubt, I wait, then move whilst stopped at the station. For cars with no grab irons (R40 and R40M "B" ends), I go round the outside.BTW someone became a 12-9 (and survived) on the "J" today, falling between R42s #4814 and #4815. This was on the 6PM Channel 7 news. I wonder if they were crossing between cars. wayne |
