Another side to this is that governments are short of money so they impose new restrictions on a public not used to being so restricted in the anticipation that a significant percentage will ignore said restrictions. This results in a new revenue stream for said government.Its all about the $$$$!!!! If it was only about safety we could do away with about 80% of the laws on the books today and still live safe lives!! |
