That is the typical reaction of a person who does something illegal, no matter how mundane the offense is. I'm sure there are kids who steal the perverbial apple from the fruit and vegetable display, don't get caught, then later in life go on for "bigger and better things" because they were never caught for the first offense. Let the cops summons the other guy for the other stuff. Yes, they should give out summons' for littering too, and the street cops should give out summons' for jay-walking also. Let me remind you there are plain clothes cops around waiting for you to move in between cars. Don't "cry" to us when it happens. It may not happen this month or this year, but guarantee if you keep it up, your odds of getting caught at a certain point will increase. |
