My compliments to Osmosis Jones, who single-handedly took on the the entire forum by himself to defend the G line and its` ridership. I was right with you but could not respond from my office computer. Thanks a LOT trains61. I think it's about time some people had the "cohones" to step up to all of these people, and I thought I might as well be one of them being a daily (G) rider that actually does that 3-way transfer. If I kept my mouth shut while watching all of these people dog out the (G), I would feel very guilty. the MTA can`t get Continental Ave. to accept R,G and V terminations with a 4 track siding? Answer is....THEY DIDN`T WANT TO MAKE IT WORK. That`s why G rider feel so put upon. Here's something I find interesting: Currently, (G), (R), and (V) trains to operate together during weekday evenings with service on each operating about every 10 minutes (of course the (V) operates the most frequent out of the 3 at that time), one day I'm going to observe the line and look for these "back ups". |
