They'd have the same problem at 179th St eventually with the relay, though, no? And then they would give up control over alternating R/V trains going southbound from Forest Hills.They could, however deal with this, with a well-placed set of switches into 179th St, which should eliminate the need for relays. Then again, that's got cost too. |
