Truthfully, the G's plight is not that it doesn't go to Queens Blvd, but rather that it doesn't go to Manhattan (but that's the infastructure, and the way it was designed). The fact that it went to Queens Plaza made transfering to Manhattan trains a little easier than the roundabout PITA transfer at Court Square through the Citicorp connection. The vast Majority of the G's riders aren't traveling to Queens Blvd, but rather Manhattan. Yes, there are some that will be inconveninced, but the vast Majority would have gotten off by Queens Plaza anyway. |
