If they wern't,they would've been scrapped along with the other R33ML cars.I don't think that's necessarily true. Many redbirds were made into work cars. Three and a half pairs were repainted and I believe all eight cars were used on fan trips in various combinations with the other four museum SMEE cars. Eight cars is a lot to save from one class. It's plausible that after they are done being used for fan trips, some (or all) could be either converted to work cars or scrapped. I doubt it would be all, as it seems likely they would save at least one pair for the museum. Obviously I hope that all are saved. |
