IIRC, the new issue of Men's Health I got says something about guys avoiding walking over 1 3/4 MPH or something like that, I'll have to look for it later.I think most people walk faster than that. When I walk to work I'm walking at not quite 4 mph, and even though I pass most people I'm not passing many of them by that much. I'd say 2.5 to 3 mph is pretty typical as a walking speed. |
