It is surprising when you look at other railroads to find that the LIRR doesn't have the overpasses at some pretty heavily used stations.Metro North seems to have them just about everywhere -- but then again, they have far fewer stations with street crossings. I just can't figure out the LIRR's logic for which stations get overpasses and which don't. |
