Question... does NYC have a third rail power cut button on the platform accessible to passengers in case they witness someone fall on the tracks or something?Not that anyone is aware of... Many years ago a former employee told me that there was something you could do if you had a quarter and put it in the right place on the IRT. Apparently it would short a circuit and cause all signals to go red. Anyone ever hear of this and would that still work? |
