Sure would be ironic seeing Pacific Electric getting back into passenger rail in even that capacity. The wisdom of doing so is something that cannot be argued with; and frankly, with CA's emissions regs, it'd be more than merely prudent and a money-saver in both short and long run, in spite of what any bean counter might say. |
