One of "his" plans had a the Concourse line or one of the other planned Bronx routes operate to Coney Island via the Culver..and a new route along Ft Hamilton Pky and 86th st to the West End line.Then why were the tracks obviously laid out to send that route to South 4th Street? I suspect the real D versus F issue was that Culver Line platforms weren't long enough for 11-car F trains. |
