It made little sense to do that..other than a "promise" by Mayor Hylan to keep[one of the very few he did]..The natural track connections are Queens Blvd,53rd st,6th avenue,CHURCH ST..to the WTC. The way the MTA and the TA before it operates this line is 6th Avenue TO HOUSTON ST..via Essex st..to Brooklyn.. |
