You can decrease headways without increasing trainsets. Depends on by how much dwell time you have at Court Sq, and by how much you shorten headways. If at the moment, the average G train is scheduled to dwell at CSQ for 10 minutes, you can get the dwell time down to maybe just 5 minutes, which means more service and the same number of trains. Basically, the same number of trains doing more work. |
