While I agree that some were more lucky than others, I strongly urge everyone to look at the system-wide daily stats on WMATA's web page under "yesterday's service". You can clearly trace back how starting in April of this year, breakdowns and delays began increasing.One gotcha with the daily summary stats: they do not include delays due to planned single-tracking. Those rarely happened 10 years ago but are happening almost every day and evening now. |
