Some years ago, we got a speeding ticket in North Carolina or something like that. We were speeding, yes, but we weren't going any faster than any other driver on the road. It may have been unsafe to obey the speed limit, even! The reason we got pulled over was because we had NY plates and the cops figured we wouldn't be able to stick around and fight the ticket. |
