The cars that will probably be used are: 100-381-401-484-1575-1802. That may not be the exact order but you get the idea.On Monday, I noticed many R68s on the N (I rode 2862) and R68As on the Q (I rode 5116). As far as the R40s being scrapped, I've noticed some of them are off the road, but they are still some sets out there on the B and W. In fact, I caught 4150 on the W on Monday. My best advice to you is to get them while you still can. They may not be around in 2008. There are a lot of R160s already assembled and are going to be tested before being placed into service. Last I checked, the highest number I sighted at Yonkers was 8922 and that was when I was headed to the Croton Harmon Open House. They're most likely higher than that now. Perhaps all of them are complete? |
