Money Supply is controlled by the Fed, and is finite.

It's definitely finite, but as Fed officials candidly concede, they regulate the money supply and its flow more than they control it; hence talk or contractionist or "tight" times contrasted with "loose" or expansionist times. The Fed has huge influence, but things don't always work out as the Fed wishes.
