Since no one has posted a picture of the first two cars, the T/O had to slam into more than just the bumper (maybe also the wall) to total (or as the news reports stated - sustain significant damage) to the first two cars and put a dent in the third car, Was the train still taking power (accelerating) after the T/O hit the bumper. Unlike the Canarsie yard incident, the train did not jump the bumper and did not derail! |
