Presently, I don't see them adding any F trains. In the future, when/if the SAS is implemented, one could see a Queens Blvd Local/2nd Av service via 63rd St, which would, of course, stop at Roosevelt Island. But don't hold your breath waiting on that!But stations are expensive. See my posted link in the 7 line extension topic. Unless Roosevelt Island acquires more land, I don't see it happening. So out take-home points are: add more land to the island until it's part of Manhattan, and that should solve the problem. Glib, but that's more likely to happen than what you're asking for. |
