The Tram, its cable system, and the former Trolley Kiosk (now the Roosevelt Island Historical Society Visitors Center)now all sit on the site of the old upside down building.As noted earlier in one of my posts the DOT will not even discuss a staircase up to the bridge anymore. The upside down building was a combination warehouse and elevator building. |
