Hello Subwayman

YES...that is a bad error by whomever made up the computer digitally created map illustration...

However, the 3rd Ave EL DID have single center island wooden platforms (with only 2 tracks, NB & SB Locals, with some center passing sidings), including the E.156th Street El Station, prior to 1915-16 from Harlem River-E.133rd Street Station ALL the way to Bronx Park Terminal....including later Express E.149th St., E.177th St., and Fordham Road stations.
ALL the Bronx Line EL Stations were rebuilt in 1915-16 to facilitate installation of thru center express tracks to what existed as know thru the Bronx portion El's closing end of April 1973.

Probably you know that already !
