Ya know the saying about fighting city hall.....There is also "selective enforcement" of the sidewalk maintainence language. Reading's code stipulates sidewalks must be provided for public passage adjacent to city streets, along with a 24 hr. time period for snow removal from said sidewalk. I don't consider it a Fifth Amendment issue, considering the full disclosure of this requirement as a consequence of property ownership within the city. What burned me up was the selective enforcement of the maintainence. |
