That's like comparing a half dozen rotten eggs to a full dozen. I have relatives who remember the Conrail days and they are universal with their negative opinions. Except for the New Haven line, since it was not only horrible before the Penn Central merger, it was an unwanted stepchild after it. Conrail was actually a step up from what preceeded it. |
