Heres your "answer"..

In R32's,R38's,R40's and R42's(the Single cabs) we have "sign changers" which we use to change the side signs (T/O's and C/R's have them).

The R40's and R42's have switches which are used to do this with the End Signs.

The R32's and R38's have the same thing with the End signs, but they arent switches they are "knobs" with have the letter of the train you wish to use and they are located in T/O cabs.

In R44's,R46's they have the electronic signs which require numbered codes for the side signs for the end signs a switch is used same as the R40's and the R42's.

The R62's use a sign changer as well for the side and end signs T/O and C/R can do it as well.

The same thing applies for the R68's if im correct sign changer for both ends.

The R142's,R143's and R160's only in the Operating cabs in the "A" cars can the signs be changed With the TOD Screen any crew member can do it.

If i missed anything please any B Div peeps feel free to add thanks..
