Is there a difference between the two? The timetable for both says "Newark Light Rail", as do the vehicles.

Should be self-evident that it's the segment to Broad Street Station. Not even the extension of the NCS onto the former Erie Orange Branch features street-running, although it does have a number of grade crossings.
