Yup, 'tis true. The new tunnels will go to the new six tracks/platforms solely and give no access to the original 21 tracks of NYP. The original NYP and North River Tunnels will stay as they are, and as congested as they are. On top of that, NJT still plans to "double the number of trains into Manhattan" as advertised. There will be no quarter . . . |
