And even Bushwick (from what I read in the New York Daily News special section The Bronx Is Burning) has some of those condos now and could be the next area to become "I can't afford to live there."The rents in New York in general have gotten out-of-hand, and it's even having effects here in Philly, where some in New York live, putting up with two-hour commutes each way because the rents here are lower than New York, driving up the rents in some areas here. |
