Hell of a lot more parks than Bensonhurst or Borough Park or Flatlands, that's for damn sure. Closest thing to a park in much of southern Brooklyn is Washington Cemetery or the Ocean Parkway service roads or the Belt Parkway pedestrian path. But since so much of the area has had a large low to medium-income Italian-American or Jewish population I guess nobody gives a crap. |
