If you're referring to the express service between 18th Ave and Kings Highway, it ended in 1987, and it was definatley repair related. During the summer that year temporary platforms were put in so that both local tracks could be replaced while service still ran. When the project was done, express service was gone. A major switch south of Kings Highway needed to run this service in the AM was removed shortly after. |
