My parents shopped at Mays.My dad,cause he was right there at the 168th st terminal anyway..and mom use to meet him there[with us in tow].. The highlight of our trip was Not paying the fare[MOM just flipped her pass..and we'd walk thur the gate..] Once in a blue moon..we'd even get our pops train! Everytime we shop Jamaica Avenue..it turned into a "family day" or something...cause I usually was able to get something out of it..the ride..a toy[once picked up a Gigantor!]..a book... It was fun. |
