Of course they do. People don't commit suicide when their train gets cancelled; they find a way to make do. Same thing in the Bronx when the Third Av El got cancelled.

Doesn't mean we shouldn't think about replacing it.

The Ninth Av El got cancelled, but it was replaced by the Concourse Line and Eight Av IND services. We're taking baby steps to finally creating the SAS, which was supposed to replace the Third Av El in Manhattan (and eventually the Bronx???). Why not the Myrtle?

See, doesn't that prove I'm not strictly Manhattan-centric?
