If the merchants in Jamaica thought the TA would be forced to speed up implementation of Archer Av they took a gamble and lost. I can't imagine that the Jamaicaa Chamber of Commerce and the area merchants would take that risk in the name of brightening up the look of Jamaica Avenue.I'm not taking one side over another on this matter. I'd just like to hear a plausible theory on why anyone would want to cut off subway service to a shopping district. |
