You meant "affected" but point taken.What about Atlantic Yards? You are referring to some local residents being pissed off about the project? OK. My personal take on Atlantic Yards is, it needs to move forward. The loudmouths are entitled to protest (First Amendment), but not hijack the whole project, as they do not speak for the whole community. It will be very good for the area, good for improving local transit facilities, and who knows, it may, in the long haul, provide an impetus for subway expansion in Brooklyn. I support Forrest Rattner on this project, but also support modifications to address local resident concerns. |
