Well, it added potential capacity.6th Av express tracks (Chrystie St project) + 63rd St Extension + new route plugged into 63rd street (in addition to local Queen Blvd connection) = true new added capacity. Queens Blvd.capacity did not change, but there is still spare capacity in the Sicth Avenue IND trunk that is unused. |
