I agree with you there.If we put the neighborhood redevelopment aside for a moment (very important, though), then Archer allows branching or redirection of service, new transfer to other service and to LIRR/AirTrain. If it were up to me, the Jamaica Line would extend much deeper, would be four tracks wherever it was possible, and would have local and express service, and passengers could transfer to go to downtown Brooklyn. But that's just fantasy on my part. Ah well, I'll start a charity to collect money for the subway. In about 30 years, my charity will have enough money to buy most of one escalator. 8-) |
