I'll go for this one with apologies to all who've said the same thing ... if you have a RECEIPT for paying, then any ticket for such feebles excuses is covered ... I'm certain that in only a few more years if "sleezy-pass" is installed at the portals to midtown as is apparently planned, then there'll be plenty of transponders with timers to figure out how long you parked and charge you ...

But it always bugged me that you could be ticketed in the first place at a parka-meter if it was busticated ... FREE parking is what it always used to mean ... if it bothered the city fathers, then FIX the damned thing. And once again, out here where I live, there ain't no parka-meters except in the (ahem) "big cities" and you drove another block and there weren't any more of them. And people wonder why Wal*Fart killed all those little mom and pop stores ... wasn't Wal*Fart per se, it was those stupid parka-meters. :(

Why park on Main Street when you can go to a mall and not drop a penny? Dumbasses! :(
