There is a block of Old South Rd. running from 76th to 77th Sts. After Pitkin Av, Old South Rd continued to Van Wicklin Rd, Albert Rd, North Conduit Av. to another piece of Old South Rd. between 126th and 128th Sts. It must have ended somewhere in the beach colony known as "Idyllwild", from which JFK Airport got its original name.Bob |
